ナヲノコス imprint a name

世界中の人たちが、これから先もずっと忘れないであろう人々の名前。

だれかにとって、忘れられないものとなっただれかさんの名前。

名の残し方はいろいろありますが、こんな風にさりげなくそっと、
もしかしたら気づいてすらもらえないかもしれない方法はいかがでしょうか。



時計の修理やオーバーホールをした際に
職人が自分のサインを刻むことがあります。

写真はムーブメントの、普段は文字盤がくっついている面。
そこに名前らしき文字が、密かに刻まれていました。

気づいてもらうことを期待しているわけではなく、
自分のした仕事に対する責任と誇りを示すため、職人がその名を残す。

ちいさな時計の見えない部分に刻まれた
とても重大な想い。

わたしはそういったものに気がつけるようでありたい。

There are some different ways to leave your name,
but how do you like this delicate and hidden way, which could not be noticed by anyone..

Craftsmen would carve their name on watches
when they repair or overhaul them.

And some letters which look like someone's name is carved on it secretly.

Craftsmen imprint their names there, not expecting to be noticed
but to show their prides and responsibilities.

Great thoughts which are imprinted on little watches.
